Ray and Veronica work at Northiam station - where, after some pruning back of shrubs and bushes, additional work was done to the beds following completion of adjacent fencing by the Tuesday Gang.

Stan at work on the ever present  task of keeping grassed areas tidy, particularly on the banks on the North side of the platforms.

The newly established privet hedge at Northiam is cut back vigorously to promote growth.

The hedge next to the vegetable patch gets a short back and sides from Ray's clippers .......

... followed by removal to the other end of the site ready for a warming bonfire in due course

A change is as good as a rest they say and the Tuesday gang put on their other hats (or in this case wellies) and report to Rolvenden to plant 40+ trees. This is required by the planners as a screen for any future development at the Locomotive site.

Some levelling of the site was required before the saplings could be planted and very fortunately Frim gladly took on this task or we might still be there!

The planners instructions were quite specific about how the screening should be accomplished and this resulted in plenty of on-site surveying and discussion to ensure it was done right.

Back to the routine work again - John manages a bonfire at Northiam to clear the accumulated gardening and other wooden rubbish.
