However, railways being what they are, we never actually finish a job as there is always more. So here Mark, Alan and Matt continue with cleaning up the railings and re-painting in scintillating black!

And beyond those gates the big job continues - repairing and repainting the gates. Richard and Tom get on with metal priming the gate nearest the bank.

But there is plenty more work to be done and so the gang descend en-masse whenever the rain stopped, to add layers of paint

The work of the gang is frequently spread over a number of different railway sites on the same day. Whilst work was continuing with other projects at Witt Rd and Tenterden these members progress the work on the Northiam seating renovations.

With plenty of material to dispose of, a bonfire is lighted. The purpose was to improve the sight-lines for train drivers and those using the crossings.
