Despite truly awful weather much of the beds have been demolished and removed from site.

To speed the work we hire a tipper truck. This part of the work is nearly finished - and it's raining again!

What more holes? Our attention moves on to Northiam where the entrance has become badly potholed.

No problem! We pick up loco cinders at Rolvenden to fill them in.

Back to Rolvenden but not the loco ash heaps. We start a different task - hedge planting to screen the loco shed developments.
